Chef Prepared Meals

We’re delighted to share our new Autumn / Winter Chef-Prepared Meals menu, packed with delicious new dishes and a whole section of sharing platters.

All our chef-prepared dishes are freshly made by our on-site kitchen team, ready to eat straightaway or pop in the oven when you get home. Most come packaged in sustainable wooden boxes, though we do have a selection of ceramic / glass dishes which can be filled for you (deposit required). You can also bring in your own dishes from home and we will fill them for you.

There is always a selection of homemade dishes available in the shop; however, we do suggest ordering in advance to ensure availability or if you are catering for large numbers. Full cooking instructions can be included on request.

Classic William’s Favourites

We are still making the classic William’s favourites – William’s fish soup, spicy crab soup, whole poached sides of salmon, fish pie, our famous salmon fishcakes, coronation chicken and crayfish mayonnaise. As the years have gone by, however, recipes have been added and modernised and we have recently added a range of new dishes inspired by chefs around the globe – chicken with za’atar and sumac, aubergine rollatini, spiced roasted cauliflower salad and new winter sharing platters (beef with roasted beetroot and red onion salad, seafood platter, Italian antipasti platter…)

Formal Dining

We can also offer a number of dishes suitable for more formal dinner parties, such as Seafood Platters, Beef Wellington and Lobster Thermidor, as well as a wide selection of starters and desserts – crab soup and gazpacho, salted caramel tart and chocolate roulades.

Please give us plenty of notice for more formal dishes or for large numbers and do let us know if you have any special requests.
