Classic William’s favourites

Our chef-prepared meals have been renowned in the Cotswolds for many years, even featuring in Jilly Cooper’s latest book, Mount!

We are still making the classic William’s favourites – William’s fish soup, spicy crab soup, whole poached sides of salmon, fish pie, our famous salmon fishcakes, coronation chicken and crayfish mayonnaise. As the years have gone by, however, recipes have been changed and modernised, and we have recently added a huge range of new dishes inspired by chefs around the globe – miso-marinated salmon, harissa chicken with pepita pesto, summer chicken with lime and mango, scallop ceviche, pomegranate and walnut-stuffed aubergine, black rice, chilli and mint salad, charred broccoli salad with cranberry and toasted pumpkin…


Formal Dining

We can also offer a number of dishes suitable for more formal dinner parties, such as Beef Wellington, Herb-Crusted Rack of Lamb or Salmon en Croute, as well as a wide selection of desserts – peaches with rose and pistachio, lime & lemongrass posset or the traditional favourite, Tarte Tatin.
Most of our dishes come packaged in sustainable wooden boxes, ready to be popped in the oven, though we do have a selection of ceramic / glass dishes which can be filled for you (deposit required) or do bring in your own dishes from home and we will fill them for you.
There is always a selection of homemade dishes available in the shop; however, we do suggest ordering in advance to ensure availability or if you are catering for large numbers.

Please book on 01453 832240 or online. Now featuring a barista coffee machine, new cocktail bar and large outside terrace, we change our menu on a daily basis dependent on the daily catch.
