Easter falls so early this year that it has caught us all a bit by surprise, so I thought I should confirm that we will very much be open with a bonus extra hour of shopping on Good Friday.

In readiness for Good Friday and its ancient associations with Fish, we will have a full slab to ensure that you can celebrate the tradition in style. This year, in addition to the classic options like Brill, Halibut, Salmon Fillet, or Dover and Lemon Soles, we are featuring Chalkstream Trout from the pristine waters of the Rivers Test and Itchen.

As ever, we strongly encourage you to place an order if you have a particular fish or seafood dish in mind. Ordering is very simple, and can be done in person, over the phone, or via email. My team and I will be delighted to help with any questions you might have.

There is still plenty of time to place an order by Tuesday 26th to make sure your plans run smoothly. If you miss this deadline, please rest assured that we will do our best to fulfil your order. If you are blessed with a houseful for Easter, why not let our chefs take the pressure off the chef in your house with a range of dishes to order from our Pre-Prepared Menu. These can be presented in disposable packaging, one of our glass dishes, or even in your own dishes from home should you prefer. There is pretty much something for everyone in this great selection, from a humble lasagne or fish pie (suitably elevated of course!) to a Beef or Salmon Wellington, and a whole host of options in between.

The menu is on our website in the chef-prepared meals section. In addition, we can prepare a selection of Quiches or a Lemon Tart from our yet-to-be-finalised Spring Summer menu. We will also have a couple of alternative summer Salads should you so desire.
