Starting on Thursday 21st January, the William’s shop will be open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until further notice.

Thursdays 10-4pm
Fridays and Saturdays 9-4pm

The shop will be offering the freshest fish around, our chef-prepared ready meals to bring some relief to the everyday drudgery of cooking for yourself, and a wide array of cheeses, and ambient and chilled products from the UK and further afield.

FISH ORDERS
During this time, our fish slab will not have the same depth and breadth of fish that you would expect to find at William’s under normal circumstances. In light of this, we ask that you email us your fish order by Tuesday late morning for collection later that week. Please see our Fishmarket page for our full range of fish. We will do our best to fulfil all orders subject to the fishermen’s catch, and it goes without saying that William’s would really appreciate your help in supporting our fishing industry during uncertain times.

CHEF PREPARED MEALS ORDERS
We will be stocking a range of our delicious chef-prepared meals in the shop, but to guarantee that you get the treat you crave please email us your order by Wednesday lunchtime. Many of you already have hot favourites but do feel free to browse the menu for inspiration.

TAKE AWAYS
As of 22nd January, on Friday and Saturday evenings you can pick up a takeaway for a taste of William’s restaurant in your own home. If you’d like to book a slot, please email us stating the day you want, a fifteen minute collection slot (starting at 5pm and ending at 8pm), and what you would like to order from the takeaway menu. This has been very popular in previous lockdowns, so we advise booking early. The restaurant team will be delighted to catch up with you when you collect your order.

COVID PRECAUTIONS AND SHIELDING
Rest assured that we will be taking every care to remain Covid-safe during these testing times. In addition to regular cleaning and a one-way system, we will be limiting the number of customers in the shop to 3 people at a time. During busy periods this may mean that we ask only one member of a household to come in, but in quieter times we will still be happy for other members of your household to join you.

Whilst we very much hope to see our customers in the shop, we also understand that some may wish, or indeed need, to avoid public places. As before, we will be happy to take payments over the phone in advance of collection, and you can come to the kitchen door at our carpark to collect your shopping. In addition, we can arrange deliveries for purchases over £50 in the local area (Nailsworth, Minchinhampton, Woodchester, Avening and Amberley). Deliveries to other areas can be arranged for a small fee.
