The William’s 2025 Christmas order sheet is now ready to go and up on our website.

Fish and seafood remain firm favourites for many of you at Christmas time. As ever, we will be moving heaven and earth to ensure that the slab offers the very best and freshest catch possible, including Lobsters, Oysters, Turbot, Halibut and Loch Duart Salmon.  Whilst we will have a full slab, I cannot emphasise enough that the best way to avoid disappointment is to order in advance.  Lobsters are particularly popular, and from experience there are rarely more than a handful to spare for the impulse purchase.

If you require a particular fish for New Year’s Eve, please place your order prior to Christmas so that we can ensure your needs are met.

We are also taking orders for the celebrated Judy Goodman Geese and Free-Range Bronze Turkeys, as well as Creedy Carver Ducks and Sugar-Roasted Whole or Half Hams off the bone. Please note, we need all orders for turkeys, geese and ducks by the end of November.

As ever, the deli will have a tempting selection of savoury items to make drinks party nibbles a doddle. Crayfish Mayonnaise and mini Croustades are a bit of a show-stopper with minimal fuss, or you may like Findlater’s pates on mini oatcakes, topped with a chutney, or better yet (some might say) our Severn & Wye Cured Smoked salmon on blinis with creme fraiche and a dollop of lumpfish caviar.

Our range of Tempus cold meats are an excellent boost to the inevitable Boxing Day lunch of cold left overs, and of course, let’s not forget the cheeseboard. We will have our usual heroes –  creamy Colston Basset Stilton (sold either by the slice or as a whole Baby Stilton), wickedly good triple-cream Delice de Cremier, or ripe Baron Bigod, and Vacherin that meander off your plate. We have an interesting array of Cheddars ranging from tasty to punchy if you prefer the stronger flavours, and for Christmas our Truffle Pecorino will be joined by Truffle Brie. We have a good selection of Goat and Sheep’s cheeses ranging from soft to hard, and even to blue.  In addition to the cheeses, we have a wide range of crackers (including tasty GF options), chutneys, membrillo, and a truffle Honey that is to die for.
